JOB TYPE: Full-time, Permanent
PAY/SALARY: $22.00 per hour
SUPPLEMENTAL PAY TYPES: overtime and tips when applicable
EXPECTED HOURS: casual: 30 per week, potential for full time
SCHEDULE: 3 days x 8-10 hours
REQUIREMENTS
- 2-3 years in craft beer, specialty coffee, logistics, sales or service
- Ability to lift and manoeuvre up to 70kg several times a day
- Possess a valid BC Driver’s Licence
- Comfortability driving in the Lower Mainland and familiarity of different regions
- Flexibility with your schedule, willingness to take on on-call shifts if needed
- Can successfully work in a fast-paced environment
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assembling online and wholesale order and driving routes
- Picking of beer and coffee orders and/or verifying orders picked prior to delivery
- Some assistance packaging finished beer and roasted coffee, or liquid coffee
- Delivering product to our customers/accounts using either the House of Funk van or personal vehicle (miles/gas reimbursed)
- Collecting empty kegs and bottles; ensuring proper documentation of returns
- The ability to follow and understand SOP’s
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels
- Collaborate with other team members and Coffee Roastery and Brewing to ensure efficient production and quality control
- Communication and coordination with Distribution Manager to ensure accurate delivery routes and product requirements/availability
- Build positive relationships with customers and accounts and act as a face of the House of Funk Brewing and House of Funk Roasting in all external and internal interactions
- Supporting beer and coffee events around the Lower Mainland with the transport, assembly, and disassembly of presentation and service apparatus
